Technorati is ALIVE!

Well, after some ado, I can now associate Technorati tags to posts. Frankly, this is one of many toys I am entertaining just to keep abreast of things. I am not happy with the way this (or any other structured category system) works…We are fixing it though!

Two things to expect:

1. Categories are only a *starting* point. Yes, it’s necessary to create categories for reference, but after that, NO ONE should dictate how meaning is assigned. My GOD what a mess the web has become.
2. As Dag Nybo pointed out, this blogging thing needs to be easier. I don’t like blogs. I think they are random, disconnected thoughts that will have little or no use for posterity. Having said that, I do see value in being able to conveniently publish text…
